VCAF103
The VCAF103 is typically used at remote fuel storage
facilities where a vapour recovery system is not available.
When truck delivers its load of fuel, the empty space in the
tank is filled with air from around the tank. Without this
filter fitted, any particles (i.e. dust) in the air is sucked into
the tank which mixes with the fuel and can then cause
damage in vehicle engines.
The need was initiated by a mine site incentive to
keep the fuel being delivered as clean as possible by
significantly reducing ingress of particles larger than 5
microns.
